Teachers and Staff | Hannah Wilson
Hannah Wilson is a pianist and educator who strives to spread love and appreciation for music. Originally from Long Island, Hannah is currently a junior undergraduate student at the Eastman School of Music in the process of earning two degrees in Music Education and Musical Arts. As a piano primary, Hannah is a student of Tony Caramia. She also serves as the Secretary of Eastman’s National Association for Music Education collegiate chapter (NAfME).
Outside of ROCmusic, Hannah is also a substitute teacher for the Early Childhood Music Program at the Eastman Community Music School. In addition, she has spent a summer serving as a Music Specialist Counselor at the Camp at the Suffolk County Farm and Education Center in Yaphank, NY.
Hannah is currently starting a research project through her Musical Arts degree in exploring how music can be utilized as a tool in the general education classroom to make the learning of core academic subjects more inclusive by diversifying the way every student learns and allowing for multisensory instruction. In her free time, Hannah enjoys cooking, baking, and watching The Office.
