Stephanie Magera | ALP Intern

Stephanie Magera is a current fourth year undergraduate student majoring in Tuba Performance at the Eastman School of Music in the studio Dr. Justin Benavidez. In addition to her Performance degree, she is a Catherine Filene Shouse Arts Leadership Certificate of Achievement candidate. Prior to her time at Eastman, she was an active musician in Buffalo, New York where she grew up. Stephanie has previously studied with Don Harry, Craig Sutherland, and Lon Gormley.

Stephanie has performed with a variety of ensembles including a performance with the Tony Award Winning Renée Elise Goldsberry. In recent years, she has performed with the Symphoria Orchestra, Eastman Philharmonia, the Eastman Wind Ensemble and Eastman’s Brass guild. She has also performed with the Empire Film and Media Ensemble on multiple occasions.
