Teachers and Staff | Sophia Klin

A 2023 graduate of the Eastman School of Music, Sophia Klin performs as a violinist around the region with ensembles such as the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, Symphoria, the Orchestra of Northern New York, and more. With a particular interest in contemporary repertoire, she has performed numerous orchestral, chamber, and solo works by living composers. Sophia has also been an active performer in her hometown of Binghamton, NY, playing in the Binghamton Baroque Orchestra for several years and performing as a soloist with the Binghamton Youth Symphony and Binghamton Community Orchestra. In addition to violin, she has performed on tuba, piano, voice, and steel drums.

Sophia joined the ROCmusic faculty in 2023 and is so grateful for the opportunity to share the joy of playing violin.
