Kang-In Han is from Warrenville, IL. He discovered his love for violin while studying with Dr. Lee Joiner at Wheaton College. He graduated from the Eastman School of Music in 2022 from the studio of Professor Oleh Krysa, and is continuing with his Master's degree in Performance and Literature with Professor Yoojin Jang. Kang-In’s mother is a piano teacher so he grew up in a very musical household where he got to experience a community of students and teachers. This has inspired him to teach and to use music to connect with as many people as possible! Kang-In has had the privilege of collaborating with members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Cleveland Orchestra, and Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. He has experience teaching at a variety of musical institutions including the Merit School of Music and Sistema Ravinia in Chicago. A few notable musicians he has worked with include Masumi Per Rostad, Sibbi Bernhardsson, David Taylor, Li-Kuo Chang, and the Ying Quartet.
