Jenna Kent | ALP Intern

Jenna Kent is a second year Master’s student at Eastman School of Music studying Clarinet Performance with Michael Wayne and Kenneth Grant, and she is a candidate for Eastman’s Arts Leadership Certificate.

Jenna is a frequent substitute with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, primarily playing Eb clarinet. She is also an Associate Musician with the Columbus Symphony in her hometown of Columbus, Ohio. Jenna graduated in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Music in Clarinet Performance and a Performer’s Certificate from Eastman as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Rochester.

In addition to interning with ROCmusic, she currently works at the Eastman Concert Office and is a research assistant for a study on racial and gender discrimination in academia.
