Teachers and Staff | Alexis Prescott

Alexis Prescott is a Voice and General Music teacher at ROCmusic. Alexis graduated from Spelman College with a Bachelor of Arts in Music (Voice Concentration), and is currently in her second year of graduate studies in Music Education at the Eastman School of Music. Alexis piloted the Vocal Readiness program at ROCmusic last year, and is excited to expand her skills into general musicianship classes for young musicians throughout the new school year! Prior to her time at ROCmusic, Alexis studied voice abroad in Milan, Italy, soloed with the Spelman College Glee Club, led the Soprano section of Spelman’s leading Contemporary Pop Ensemble, Noire. In addition to her performance work, Alexis is the Graduate Assistant for the Office of Equity and Inclusion at Eastman.
