A summary of volunteer-intern opportunities
Volunteer Teaching Artist (VTA) - Regular mentors/instructors who attend on a weekly basis any or all of M, T, W, Th, F 4:30p-6:00p. VTAs provide musical/academic instruction and exercise classroom/behavior management.
Play It Forward Volunteers - Donate their time by playing in student concerts, important rehearsals, and/or outreach performances. Flexible hours between afternoon and evening times below.
Event Volunteers - Volunteer with setup/tear down, ushers, stagehands, reception/front-of-house, chaperones for specific events, and more. Event Volunteers usually help during evenings/weekends.
Observation Interns – Attend on a drop-in basis and observe teaching and lessons. Provide additional support and supervision as needed. Please be in touch in advance!
